went over to sharon's house this morning.
showed some magic to her. LOL
we left her house around 10am and took bus to school for band.
reach band room around 10.30am, went in and they were having sectionals.
haha, today saxophone section all wear bandtee except juniors.
then jianming say he like odd one out cause we three wear skirt, he wear pe shorts.
so we asked him to wear skirt lor, then he say who willing to lend him.
lol, end up also never.
around 11.30, juniors pack up and had drills, so sharon and i went to west plaza for lunch.
1pm, main band starts, had warm-ups.
we then move on to the Virginia.
One of the alumni helped us with this song.
at first without his help, the whole band like very messy.
after awhile, music comes out.
i've heared the recording of the song ler, i still prefer Music For A Festival, nicer to hear.
the Virginia, i listen halfway then i close liao, very boring.
then had sectionals, saxophone section and basson together.
we sit in a circle, then in the middle got one hole.
we play the thrill part, then feel like got snake coming out from the hole.
LOL, then jarel come play with us, he then become the snake.
hilarious.
halfway through sectionals, nisha asked all of us to be in pumping position.
she then say who dare tell her for the whole sectionals, never go disturb other section, then stand up.
so lisa, me and sharon stand up first.
followed by a few people.
left ones are jianming, sean, zacharyD, aqil, jarel.
they stay there for very long cause nobody said the thing.
after quite long, nisha call us to sit down, while the rest continue.
i saw sean sweat until like raining like that. LOL.
then nisha asked them to stand up, then go down again.
for alot of times repeatly.
after that continue with sectionals.
then the repairman come, so those section who have spoilt instruments, go over to the guy to put it into the van for repairing.
i tooked delvina's instrument, sharon took hers, and jianming took his another baritone.
christine's saxophone also got go repair.
now sharon use the juniors' saxophone, old old der.\
then was full band.
seeyu took us.
around 3.30pm++, had drills.
sian, went over to the bball court, drills then blah blah.
and then on the way home in the bus, saw a paper which khaliun was holding.

because nisha and engteck will be going fo NCO camp next week, khaliun, seeyu and one more person will be the major of the week.

the paper wrote "10 - never pin hair, 10 - never tuck in, 15- late comers, 10 - long nails, 10 - coloured ruber bands...."

i forget still got what ler.

hahas, anyway, i no need scared the long naills thing liao, cause i cut mine a day before yesterday. =D

this morning went over to Sharon house to meet her.
went white sands to photostap the report slip for band.
but end up too early, never open.
slacked at McDonald's and left for school at 10.30am
meet khaliun at school's bus stop and then went for band.
the juniors were having break.
when go back for full band, delvina using my instrument, so i just seat beside her.
after awhile of do-re-mi, mrpan asked Sharon to bring deryl to the room and coach him the basics.
after junior band, they had drills inside the band room for awhile.
seniors just sat one side looking at them.
their drill jia lat, lol, when fall-in or disappear, they never echo and still slow slow.
engteck and nisha asked those who have long nails, coloured rubber band, dyed hair, never pin hair all that to do pumping.
then Michelle asked eng teck to pump yijia double because she dyed her hair.
end up all never do pumping but stay in pumping position.
went for lunch with khaliun and Sharon.

1pm, full band!
Mr pan help us on our rhythm.
then had sectionals.
sectionals on the score Virginia.
after awhile, quite nice to play.
got one time jianming wanna play my tenor saxophone, so i lend him, then i try his baritone sax.
then i accidentally press until the button, all his saliva in his saxophone drip out ON TO MY SKIRT.
its like alot alot alot lor, so disgusting.
changed back, then we play the method 1 & 2 of 'instruments up'
LOL, then is seeyu say the thing mah, then she say method 3.
all of us didn't do anything except Lisa who raise her saxophone high up.
hahah, laughed alot throughout the sectionals.
khaliun say that our section very bonded, like one family like that. =)
then had full band on the song.
after full band, gather.
talk about those usual things then band end.
went home with Sharon, alight at central.
when we walk past 446's lift, suddenly got siren.
the lift B got people stuck inside.
the siren is like so super loud der.
then the shop tender beside go call the town council.
haha, its quite a nice day today except for the jianming saliva on my skirt.
ROFL, Lisa say my skirt got bacteria liao.
ohya, jianming accidentally 'eat Sharon's tofu'. =X

Went to school this morning to check the class allocation for 2009
I'm in class 3e2.
no much comment in this class, but got some new faces in there.

i prefer the cantonese version though.

Synopsis:

Life is fleeting as the butterfly, beautiful yet transient. As legends has it, a pair of butterfly lovers reappears once more after having gone through three lifetimes of repeated pain and tears.

This time, they find each other in the world of martial arts. Liang is highly skilled in martial arts and resides in the mountains. When his master tasks him to take care of Zhu, a girl from a wealthy family who disguises as guy to herself from revenge, it sparks off the painful journey that they must go through once again.

Zhu’s father, in order to pay the kindness shown to him, has betrothed her to a General Ma, although Zhu is in love with Liang. Love can fester into hate in some while in the selected few, it can lead to undying love that survives one lifetime after another.

Movie Review:

Once in a while, the television and film industry would dust off the cobwebs on classic literature, and put a creative spin on it to come up with an updated version, casting the latest and hottest sensations in lead roles in order to attract the current generation of audiences. Definitive romances like Romeo and Juliet, and in the East, the Butterfly Lovers, are cornerstones of such reboots, remakes and updates, though Jingle Ma's martial arts version and interpretation somewhat falls short.

Granted it was his ambition to try and fuse martial arts with a strong romantic backbone, but wait, wasn't that done close to perfection by Lee Ang with his Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon? And while it was a loose adaptation of the Chinese classical story (being a namesake), it contained too many elements that ran parallel with Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, where besides the leads you have characters cutting too close to The Capulet parents, the Friar and Paris the suitor, though playing the chief villain here. Not to mention of course the crucial plot element and development in the finale too that you could see coming from the halfway mark.

The Butterfly Lovers are in name and in cute pictures adorned on the hero's sword only, while having the motif hammered through with the bountiful CG butterflies in artificially painted landscapes. While the story may be already somewhat familiar, as I mentioned, it veered too much of a distance away from its Liang-Zhu roots to lean more toward R&J, and it became apologetic for it right at the beginning by stating up front some hokey rationale about this being the supposed 10th reincarnation story of a pair of virgin lovers match-made in Heaven (and seriously, Heaven has such a wry sense of wicked humour).

That aside, the other draw in being a martial arts version, fell flat too. Action choreographed by veteran Ching Siu Tung, the fights look terribly tired and doesn't contain any innovative sequences that would wow you. While the finale battle between lover and lover-wannabe tried to elevate its street-cred by having it fought at night and in the rain, it became cheat-sheet action with plenty of slow motions and pretty poses, which of course are nice to look at, only as a framed movie still. And you could probably play a drinking game with spot-the-moments of familiar action sequences, which borrows even from The Bourne Ultimatum (no kidding!), albeit done with less intensity.

Charlene Choi's star is likely to be rising given the unfortunate scandal of the other Twin, and here she snags the meaty role of one-half of the star crossed lovers in Zhu Yangi, the daughter of a wealthy family who had to be bundled off to understudy martial arts with the Ease Soul Clan, dressed as a guy because the Clan is an all-boys organization only. But Charlene being Charlene, she's too cute to pass off as a boy despite being bound unsuccessfully across the chest, and trying her best to keep her voice low, which (and probably the dubbed voice) failed to keep consistent and abandoned the effort altogether. Why everyone in the story can't interpret her explicit feminine charms, is a miracle in itself.

The male lead role is played by relative newcomer Wu Chun, who's a member of a Taiwan pop band known as Fahrenheit. He would probably raise some temperatures here as the resident heartthrob and best fighter of the Ease Soul Clan, and any suspicion of his Liang Chun Shan being a closet gay (well after all Liang is to find himself strangely attracted to Zhu) get tossed out the window when it's made clear from the onset that he suspects Yangi's gender and dreams of beautiful maidens. I guess one should go out some ways to protect his pop idol image as the Romeo for his female fans.

Much of the story goes through the usual drudgery of having both characters meet, and starting to fall in love through activities and interaction in and around the Clan base, so it's pretty much following the rote here, that doesn't call for any award winning performances, and thus none delivered as you don't really feel the happiness or tragedy of the lovers' predicament. Harlem Yu probably added a bit of cheeky fun as the Clan's resident healer Herbal Head, but don't expect any more of the supporting cast to be anything other than one-dimensional, or serving more than their singular or forgettable screen functions. The synopsis above would give you an idea of what's to transpire, and it's nothing new for serial daters who hit the cinemas for their regular fix of romantic date-movies.

But I suppose if you're new to the story, you just might want to give this version a go and keep an open mind, because its ending is nothing short of being macabre.

met Sharon and took cab with her to school.
after we reach school, we go canteen to find Eng teck and pass him our saxophones.
we then went to the locker to put our band files inside.
i screamed early in the morning because of something that really scared until me when i was walking with Sharon.
shall not elaborate. haha.
after that went back classroom and waited for Mrs menon to come.
she then brought us down to the foyer for the excursion
when she say she not following us to the Singapore Discovery Centre, our class all so happy. ._.
the bus which brought us to the SDC is like so making me headache lor.
reach there and realised we went there before when we are secondary one.
first was to make the 3d paper merlion.
LOL, make finish i just leave it on the table, lazy take.
when doing that time, waikin irritating, paste double-sided tape on my back. -.-
after that went to the hall or whatever you call that.
they give us one worksheet per group, then we are to go into the place and look for answers and come back on 11.40am, if not the last one who come, the class have to do forfeit.

haha, when 11.40, come back, got alot late.

saw a cockroach eating a biscuit on the floor today.
then suddenly a girl accidentaly kicked the cockroach and the cockcroach end up lying upside down.
the cockcroach keep struggling to turn back on its legs.
but still, after much struggle, it is still upside down.
then someone stepped it.
omg, so digusting lah
when the cockcroach was smashed, still got like juice come out.
my mum then said that because when just now struggling, it was very scared until want to shit, so when the person stepped it, the shit came out. -.-
LOL, more disgusting.

watched a few videos last night, quite interesting.

this morning before first lesson starts, Mrs menon told our class that all of us are promoted, but its not confirmed yet.
maths lesson was just going through of papers.
then next was science lesson
Mr lim gave us watch show.
documentary show about dinosaurs.
yue yi and i didn't get entertained by the dinosaurs, abit boring.
LOL, after that left like 10minutes, he give us watch toys story 2 or what.
this time, we were entertained, we kept laughing at the starting part.
cause the toys' expressions were funny.
today 2e2 is in a mess.
chaos, shoutings, throwing of paper balls.
haha, then jie sheng go staff room find teacher to pao toh.
then when he came back, we close the window and door, don't let him come in.
when he manage to come in, the whole class boo-ed him.
then Abel chang use a stick to bang the floor in front of him.
jiesheng then shouted at abelchang.
LOL, hahahaha.
after that go com lab see the sand art video thing.
school computer so lag lor.
the last lesson is English lesson.
looked at muar photos.
then ms zhang told us a ghost story about a place in that school we went to.
she didn't want to show us the video.
she say very scary.

after school, went with yueyi to canteen to take box from the drinks stall uncle.
then we go out locker take our books all that out, we want to bring them home.
saw Sharon, so she wait for us.
end up, we couldn't squeeze everything inside, so we left the textbooks inside, next time then take.
it was raining, and we only got 1 umbrella, so Sharon help us take the umbrella and sheltered us all the way to the bus stop.
hahas, we of course got wet.
when going up the 358 bus, Sharon helped us to tap our card.

saw engteck on the bus, wanted to ask him something, but end up too far, so never ask.
yue yi and i alighted at white sands and took 17 home.
yue yi stopped at her stop, i stopped at white sands primary there.
cause there got more shelter place.
first, i have to climb the overhead-bridge. =(
imagine carrying such a heavy box and climb the stairs.
carried all the way home, of course there's some places without shelter.
when i reach home, i was drenched. =(
i already sick liao, still get drenched.
later more sick. lol.

this box is 9kg lor.
even heavier than my whole saxophone+case.
but this is much more easier to carry, cause smaller =)

seriously i feel that life is changing drastically.
there are so much difference in last year's msn conversation history compared to this year's conversations.

but now, these are changing.
I seems to have more problems and troubles.

basically, today was just loads of free perioid.

most of the peroid not teacher came in, then when suddenly got people alert that got teacher coming, everybody ZOOM! then fly back to their seats already.

today went to school then all the classroom door closed.
so i and Sharon sat the the table infront of the guides den.
after flag-raising, mr anwar call the boys to stand up.
then they teacher check their attire and then they went back to the classroom.
left the girls there and then we moved up.
they talked about our attire, then catch a few short hair people
asked them to buy the rubber band and tie their hair up.lol.
the rest must pin hair and pull up socks.
mine pull until so high lor.
after that went back to class for mother tongue.
teacher not in, so i and Sharon talk talk talk.
teacher then came and give us our marks.
after that teacher came and talk to me and Sharon.
he say i will do better next year.
he said that i more better in argumentative essays while Sharon is good on narrative essays.
thats why now she do better.
pe is boring, teacher showed video about those soccer thing lah
so boring, so i slept.
sleep until half yueyi called me to wake up
yuan lai is Tommy calling me, ask me to go to the chalet.
after recess went back class for literature, literature free, talk talk.
then went for assembly
its those police talks again.
after that they went back class, the performers stayed for rehearsal.
this time, Sean and sufiyan came along.
Sean play drum and sufiyan played saron.
so yousuf played the gong and afiqah played the saron.
at the stage so hot lor, keep sweating.
after Assembly go buy drinks with Sharon, then i took mrt to grandma house.

went for the gamelan rehersal today =)
met sharon at her house void deck, then took 358 to school.
then went up to the hall.
2e1 only got people go; sharon, shermeen, two other malay girls.
my class got alot; me, abel.k, amira, afiqah, qistina, rahman, yousuf, jie sheng and hafiz.
haha, then we practice, but very messy.
cause not enough people, gendier 1 person play; qistina.
cerengtum no one play cause the melot break
saron 4 person play; me, sharon, shermeen and syafiqah.
the wood one is amira play, then the bonung is jie sheng and another e1 girl
the smaller saron is abel.k play
drum is yousuf, gong is afiqah, the suppose to be jerome play der is rahman play
cause jerome didn't came.
then the drum actually they say sean play, cause they say he play good, but he also never come, so change to yousof lor
the bonung also actually is abel chang play der
after a few times of trying, we finally got it right.
starts with drum solo 5 sets, then add in all and play morderate speed for 4 sets.
2 sets for fast speed, then change back to morderate speed 4 sets and then slow speed 2sets.
then end.
abel.k will give signal when change speed.
hahas, tomorrow we 12pm can leave class for rehersal =)
then we 1.30pm perform on stage for assembly @_@
went lunch with sharon and then went home.
daddy shifted the computer over to my table.

hahas, suddenly use computer on my table, abit weird, but better.
cause the fan beside me only. =D
but i have to pin my hair, cause the fan keep blowing my fringe to the another side.
so irritating.

I'm bored.

I had i big accomplishment yesterday.
i tidied my table!
and this time, is not like some other time when i say i tidy my table, i just threw everything into a big box and put one side.
haha, this time, i take out all the boxes and sort out those which i want and don't want.
i started from 3.30pm and end at 7.30pm.
4 hours leys!!
and my rubbish piled up to many many many bags.

3hours lehs! i sat on the floor drawing and drawing
i realise when i do art, i need to listen to music
then i will start thinking lots of things while drawing
seriously, art exam is relaxful and stressless WITHOUT time constraint.
which means, without having an exact time on when to do finish.
hahas, suddenly i love ART.
but of course i only love it when i have insiprations and ideas =)

all those reduce to the equation one i don't know how to do, except 1 i reduce until the correct one
the rest i all is just anyhow write equation on top, then below put the correct equation then add Bracket SHOWN Bracket.
