Since its the 29th of February today, I SHALL BLOG. Haha, its the leap year by the way. Plus, since its the start of a new block, I better to take the chances to update this poor little blog, before I get too busy to even have time for this.
Well, just to update you guys about my current two modules for the block, its Design History & Culture, and Multimedia Essentials..
Lets talk about Design History & Culture first.
Its like a core Design subject, which means, every design student, despite of which course, have to take this module. So yeah, its a very dry subject. While others have e-learning for this class, my class have to go to classes every day. How unfair. In addition, we have presentation every Thursday. Argh, how much I hate presentations. The coming one was totally a bullshit presentation, total waste of time kind.
The first assignment we had, was ridiculous. We have to observe a stranger for 20 minutes, take note of his appearance, behavior, height, face, complexion, etc, etc. Someone tell me this isn't stalking. The worse part was, WE THEN HAD TO APPROACH THAT STRANGER we just "Stalked" and tell him something like "Oh, hi, I've been observing you for the past 20mins.." or maybe something nicer like "Hi, I'm currently working on my school assignment which requires me to observe you for 20mins, and then get you to like fill up this 20 questions. Thank you."
Hahahahahahaha, that would probably be the response I would be getting. Tell me who wouldn't give such shocked face.
RIDICULOUS ASSIGNMENT isn't it??
Alright, now, lets talking about the another module, Multimedia Essentials.
Its all about designing a webpage. Well, at first I thought it couldn't be that hard, since I have a blog and I know some of the html codes. Plus, we will be using Adobe Dreamweaver to make the webpage, and I've had some experience with it 3 years ago when I was Secondary 3. I went for an Advance Elective Module in Temasek Poly's IT School, the module was Web design. That module occurred over 2 weeks i guess, and I managed to make a webpage within that 1 week.
Little did I know, the Dreamweaver I used that time, was totally different from the one I'm going to use now, CS5. T_T And I'm basically raging over typing html on notepad. Like seriously? WASTE TIME. Had a hard time doing the stupid table. I gave up anyway. Non-graded assignment, should spend another 3 hours on it. This module might be more fun when we get used to everything. I hope.
Till here then. Oh, and here's a Meme Comic I made, regarding that assignment I had. Haha.
